Marari Beach is a beach at Mararikulam village in Alappuzha District of Kerala, India, 11 km from Alappuzha (Alleppey) town. It is much smaller than alleppey beach but has a majestic view due to the green surf.

Edathua St.George Forane Church established in 1810 was a part of the Champakulam Kalloorkadu St.Marys Church for centuries, who were the migrants from Niranam Church erected by St.Thomas the Apostle in the first Century. Edathua is a very important pilgrim centre in South India. This community is a part of the Syro Malabar Church in the Archi-Eparchy of Changanacherry. This place Edathua and surrounding places are fully indebted to the Patron Saint and to the Church for its economical, religious, social, cultural and moral development.

St Mary’s BasilicaEstablished in 427 AD, the is one of the oldest Syro-Malabar Catholic churches in India. Commonly referred to as the Champakulam church, it was in its initial days, under the Niranom church. Niranom is one of the seven ancient churches founded by St Thomas the Apostle himself. The many archaeological artefacts that abound in the Champakulam church premises speak of its past glories. For instance, there is an open air Rock Cross that dates back to 1151 AD.

Mullackal Temple - also known as the Mullakkal Bhagwati Temple. The temple was designed and built in the old Kerala style. The temple grounds is filled with jasmine plants, after which the place may have been named, since 'mullai' in Tamil and 'mulla' in Malayalam mean jasmine. There are several stories related to the origin of the temple and its foundation. The idol in the inner shrine is that of the goddess Durga.

Ambalapuzha Temple - is believed to have been built during 15th century by the local ruler Chembakasserry Pooradam Thirunal-Devanarayanan Thampuran. It is one of the seven greatest temples in Travancore. It is considered one among the 108 Abhimana Kshethram of Vaishnavate tradition. The idol at Ambalappuzha is likened to Parthasarthi form of Vishnu, holding a whip in his right hand and a conch in his left. Payasam, a sweet pudding made of rice and milk is served in the temple and is believed that the Lord Guruvayoorappan visits the temple daily to accept the offering.

Mararikulam Shiva Temple - is said to an age old temple. This is believed to be the only temple in Kerala where Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati is seen sitting face to face. There are two deities of Shiva worshipped in this temple, namely Vadakkanappan and Thekkanappan. The temple is also popular as a place where the wishes get fulfilled. It is said that 700 years ago Villimanglam Swami built this beautiful temple

Kidangamparambu Sreebhuvaneswary Temple is one of the ancient and primordial shrines in kerala. The presence of the amazing goddess Sree Bhuvaneeswari Devi makes the temple distinguished radiant and lustrous. Thousands of devotees get relieved from their troubles and mess here. The temple has an imposing Rajagopuram or Vimanam which isn't always discovered anywhere in Kerala apart from Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvanandapuram

Light House - The Alappuzha Lighthouse (or Alleppey Light) is situated in the coastal town of Alappuzha, Kerala. It was built in 1862 and is a major tourist attraction. Visitors are allowed between 1500 hours and 1630 hours on every weekday at an admission fee of 20 rupees for Indian citizens and 50 rupees for foreigners. This is the first of its kind in the Arabian sea coast of Kerala.

Revi Karunakaran Memorial Museum is a privately owned museum located at Alappuzha, Kerala, India that displays decorative art and artifacts, including a large private collection of Swarovski crystals and ivory. Revi Karunakaran was the architect of the modernized coir industry of Kerala. After Revi's death in 2003, his wife Betty Karan built this museum in his memory. The objects displayed at this museum were collected by his family over three generations and feature unique artistic pieces from across the world.

Karumadikkuttan - is the nickname of a Buddha statue found in Karumady near Alappuzha. The name literally means boy from Karumady. This 3 feet tall, black granite statue, believed to be old as 9th to 14th century, was abandoned for centuries in a nearby stream named "Karumady thodu". Later in 1930s, Sir Robert Bristow, a colonial British engineer found the statue, and did appropriate actions to protect it. Currently the statue is under the protection of Kerala state government. The left side of the statue is missing. The statue is a subject of historical debate as the reason for its partial destruction is still elusive.
